A little care helps keep your scarves ready for the next wear. Always follow the care label supplied with your individual product; fabric blends and finishes can require different treatment.
Before washing
Check the care label first. Separate colors, remove pins or accessories, and avoid rough surfaces that may catch delicate fibers. Test any cleaning product on a discreet area when appropriate.
Wash with care
Use only the cleaning method recommended on the product label. Avoid bleach and strong detergents unless the label specifically allows them. Do not rub, twist, or wring delicate fabrics.
Dry and store
Follow the label for drying and ironing. Allow the scarf to dry fully before storing it. Fold or hang it gently in a clean, dry place away from sharp accessories and prolonged direct sunlight.
A note on fabric
Silk, modal, cotton, jersey, and chiffon do not all behave the same way. Product descriptions and care labels take priority over this general guide.
